The EnviroKIDs Summer Camp is an eight week long urban forest / environmental design camp.  The Camp will work with local underserved youth in socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhoods between the ages of 13-18 years.

The Summer Camp uses Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics(STEM) to study the urban forest and designing and building a solar house. The Camp is organized by The Institute of Landscape, Art and Sustainable Spaces(ILASS), a 501(c)3 non-profit Sustainable Design Center, and the NC Forest Service. The Camp is held on the ILASS Campus, a 4 acre farm. Registration for the camp will begin on June 14th, from 4-6PM and the camp will officially begin June 16 and continue until August 15. This is a free opportunity to expose children to .Campers who show tenacity, drive, and commitment will be considered to receive a weekly stipend.
